Partnered with a new children’s home, growing the school to around 70 students.
Moved into two buildings in order to accommodate our new growth.

Pag-asa grew to need more space, as students worked online during the Covid Pandemic and there were no size constraints.
Land for a new school building was donated. Began making architectural plans for new school building and inquiring about contractors.
Exploring new location options for additional growth.

Local grant of P1,000,000 to hire national staff. Board of trustees meets. Full capacity reached with 44 students and 16 staff.
Enrollment peaks at 44. Full-time child counselor joins staff. Facilities expansion: new classroom/container added to parking area.

2014
School year begins with 36 students from five children’s homes. First local teacher hired. New location: ground level of private residence.
Project: Pag-asa opens with with ten students and quickly expands to 14 along with three full-time staff. Location: basement of director’s home.

Tutoring service expands to second children’s home. The need for a trauma-informed approach is explored, and the awareness of the need for a trauma-sensitive school grows.
